Sturgeon Spawning

Baby Animals
Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays in April (starting April 5th): Baby Farm Animal Barn at Kelley’s Farmstead offers a chance to get up close with piglets, lambs, chicks, ducks, and calves. You’ll be right around the corner from Kelley’s Creamery if you need to incentivize leaving to head home with a delicious ice cream treat.
Note: Mulberry Lane Farm in Sherwood/Hilbert opens May 1.
Baseball
Batter up! The Milwaukee Brewers and the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers kick off their baseball seasons this month! Special guests at the Rattler’s April games include Princess Day with a VIP Tea Party on Saturday, April 6, and CoComelon on Sunday, April 7, 2024.
Earth Day
Earth Day is Monday, April 22, 2024, and is an opportunity to learn more about our planet, environmental protection, and sustainability. Our Mother Earth is celebrated every day at our local nature centers! Looking for signs of Spring at one of our fantastic nature centers is also one of our favorite things to do.

Celebrate Spring with Paw Patrol
Join the fun at Navarino Nature Center in Shiocton with all your favorite Paw Patrol friends on April 27, 2024! Interact with local police and K9, firemen, ambulance, and more. Enjoy trolley rides, crafts, outdoor games, and more! This is a FREE family-friendly event. Food is available for purchase.
Fox Cities Kidz Expo
Join us for the Fox Cities Kidz Expo, a FREE, fun, and educational kids’ expo event for the whole family at the Fox Cities Exhibition Center in Appleton on Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 9 am to 2 pm!
The Fox Cities Kidz Expo is a free community event featuring over 60 activity booths, displays and activities, play areas, an entertainment stage, balloons, face painting, demonstrations, giveaways, food concessions, and more.
