Breakfast on the Farm is an annual summer event (one of our favorite events in June) sponsored by Wisconsin County Dairy Promotion Associations. Farms invite visitors to enjoy a breakfast meal and learn about farm life. This family-friendly event is typically held during June Dairy Month and provides a unique opportunity for families and individuals to connect with local farmers and experience agriculture first-hand.
Visitors to Breakfast on the Farm can expect to be treated to a hearty meal, often featuring farm-fresh ingredients like eggs, bacon, and pancakes. In addition to the meal, educational exhibits and demonstrations often showcase various aspects of farm life, such as milking cows. Visitors can also take farm tours to learn about the animals, crops, and equipment used in modern family farming practices.
The event is designed to promote agriculture and educate the public about the importance of farming to Wisconsin’s economy and way of life. It also allows farmers to showcase their work and engage with their local community. Breakfast on the Farm is a popular event in Wisconsin, drawing thousands of visitors each year and contributing to the state’s vibrant agricultural tradition. Tickets are generally $8 to $10 a person and include the meal.

Go Valley Kids Tips
- Purchase tickets in advance to avoid long lines! Check on event pages for more information on where to purchase tickets before.
- Bring a stroller. Many of the activities are spread out. The stroller is also a great place to stash any handouts and freebies.
- Pack wipes or washcloths. Portable bathrooms are available but have wipes along to help with animal hands or sticky fingers.
- Be prepared for LOTS of people. We usually avoid events with huge crowds but still love going to these breakfasts. They are generally very well organized and ready for the people. The parking is monitored, and the activities are spread out. Pack a ball, a couple of books, crayons, and/or bubbles for downtime waiting.
