Bundle up and head to the Fox Valley’s electric city for a magical winter walk outdoors!
Hosted at the Kaukauna Public Library, families will enjoy the sights of twinkling lights, colorful ornaments, and experience the feeling of endless holiday cheer.
The beautifully decked-out garden welcomes visitors with a lit-up archway and is filled with whimsical displays. There are also blow-up characters, including a smiley snowman and giant, friendly Christmas dinosaur!
The walk consists of a short, flat-ground loop, perfect for young children, strollers, and those of all mobility levels.
Take time walking through themed areas, snap a photo in a Christmas tree cutout, and pass underneath a tunnel of sparkling lights.
Families can also spend time with a fun little scavenger hunt while exploring the garden. Suitable for all ages, the hunt challenges players to keep an eye out for photos of objects like a snowman, gingerbread, snowflake, a penguin, and more.
In addition, the garden features outdoor instruments like drums and a xylophone where children can create festive outdoor tunes.
Fun crafts and drinks are also available inside.
The Library of Lights is a free outdoor display, though donations are welcomed. Funds will help further develop the Rita and David Nelson Family Interactive Learning Garden and more lights and decorations for next year. The garden opens every night at dusk until 9 pm and will run through December and early January.
