Weekend campers get tubing priority, call for reservations if not also camping. 

“The Steve Pari family welcomes you to Rivers Edge with 800 feet of Wolf River frontage, tubing, swimming area and fishing for smallmouth bass, walleye, pike and catfish. Rivers Edge Camping Resort offers 75 campsites with electric and water, heated bathrooms with pay showers, game room and a bar serving pizza.” Tubing trips range 3 – 6 hours.

There are short & long tubing trips. Trip lengths vary depending on water levels. The long tubing trip only runs when the water levels are higher. Kayaking and canoeing are also available.

S&B Tubing

“S&B Tubing is located right on the Sugar River so your trip begins when you arrive. You float from our shop in Albany to a designated location about four miles South along the river. When your excursion ends S&B staff will be there to help you with your equipment and belongings, and direct you to the next available shuttle bus. Shuttle wait times are usually eight minutes or less.” Trips approximately 3 – 4 hours.

Point Bluff Resort

“You now begin a leisurely float down the river back to Point Bluff. There are plenty of sandbars to stop on along the way. Castle Rock will come into view about two-thirds of the way through your trip. You must leave Castle Rock Resort no later than 5 pm. If you float straight down without stopping it takes approximately 4 hours for you to reach Point Bluff depending on wind and river conditions. If you stop along the way be sure arrive back to Point Bluff no later than 6 pm so that you do not incur late fees.”
