Opened in December 2023, this innovative center offers an immersive experience for visitors of all ages, combining elements of a teaching farm, children’s museum, science center, and community workshop all under one roof. With its 60 exhibits spread across a sprawling twenty-four-acre site, the Food + Farm Exploration Center is a testament to the rich agricultural heritage of Wisconsin.
As you step inside this 68,000-square-foot state-of-the-art educational center, you are greeted by a world of immersive, multi-sensory activities and exhibits that bring the farm-to-table journey to life. The friendly and inviting space shares stories behind the food we eat, gaining a deeper understanding and appreciation for the agricultural processes.
Toddler & Preschool Area – Seedlings Children’s Gallery
One of the highlights of the center is the Seedlings Children’s Gallery, a space designed to captivate the youngest visitors. Children can explore the world of agriculture through interactive exhibits and play areas. The space is filled with natural light and is open and inviting.
