Independence Day on July 4th is a time to enjoy some fun with the family to celebrate our freedom on our nation’s birthday—festivals, celebrations, family-friendly events, picnics, fireworks, and more.

Appleton

  • Appleton Area Jaycees Festival Foods Fireworks
  • Where: Appleton Memorial Park, 1620 E Witzke Blvd, Appleton
  • When: July 3, 2023, 4 – 10 pm
  • About: Head to Memorial Park in Appleton for the Fox Cities best firework display! Festivities begin at 4 pm and feature live music, children’s activities, food, and beverages. Fireworks will begin approximately around 9:15 pm. Proceeds support the Appleton Area Jaycees’ Christmas shopping event for underprivileged children in the Fox Valley area.

  • Kimberly Fireworks for Firefighters
  • Where: Sunset Park, 300 Sunset Park Road, Kimberly
  • When: July 3, 2023, 2 – 9 pm

  • About: Festival Foods Fireworks Show and Food Trucks throughout Menominee Park – what better way to celebrate Independence Day than a day in Menominee Park enjoying a variety of cuisines from food trucks culminating with the Festival Foods Fireworks Show! The Oshkosh Parks Department has scheduled a variety of food trucks to be scattered throughout Menominee Park from 3 pm-10 pm on July 4th. Plan to get out and enjoy all the wonderful areas and sites that the park has to offer, sample the food trucks and get your favorite location to watch the fireworks show which will kick off at approximately 9:45 pm. In case of inclement weather, the fireworks show will be rescheduled for July 5.
