We checked out Bricktionary: The Ultimate LEGO® A-Z, a temporary exhibit at the new Mulva Cultural Center in De Pere! The self-guided walk-through exhibit features more than 150 custom-built LEGO® models inspired by the alphabet and the best-selling book Bricktionary.
Plan for at least 1-2 hours depending on attention span and kid’s ages – there is a LOT to see and create, including:
- Epic selfie opportunities with LEGO® brick creations
- Learn the secrets of model building, LEGO® terms and techniques
- Interactive build zones and hands-on challenges include community mosaic mural, earthquake challenge, garden masterpiece, and spaceship/robot challenge
GVK Tip: Start at A and check out each letter display, trying to figure out what word each model signifies and work through the letter Z! If you don’t have time or energy for the whole alphabet, check out the letters of the first name of everyone you are with.
This exhibit runs through September 2. Tickets are $15 for children ages 6-17 and $25 for adults (discounts for seniors and military). Ages 5 and under are free.
Mulva Cultural Center
The Mulva Cultural Center, a 75,000-square-foot cultural destination, opened in December 2023 and offers traveling exhibits, arts, and culture in a beautiful facility in downtown De Pere. They also feature films and a “gourmet to go” cafe with spectacular views of the Fox River.
