Make The Nutcracker part of your family holiday tradition. Makaroff Youth Ballet presents a beautiful, classic version of The Nutcracker, a perfect ballet for all ages to enjoy.
Be part of a Victorian Christmas party and a visit from Uncle Drosselmeyer, who presents Clara with her Nutcracker. Watch as dolls come to life and Clara’s brother Fritz causes mischief. As Clara falls fast asleep, enjoy the enchantment of her vivid dream, including a battle of mice and soldiers and traveling to far-away lands.
The Makaroff Youth Ballet, a non-profit ballet company with a long history in the Fox Valley, and guests from the Makaroff School of Ballet, will be performing the Nutcracker at Stansbury Theatre, Lawrence University.

Makaroff School of Ballet offers the highest quality ballet instruction for very reasonable prices, keeping Classical Ballet affordable and accessible in the Fox Valley. Our focus is the tradition and skill of ballet, the foundation of all other forms of dance. Participation in performances is optional, and there are no expensive costumes to buy. We are located under the green awning, across Walnut Street from the Fox Cities PAC.
