Love On the Planet Earth by Recycling Your Electronics!

Recycle

Earth Day is upon us, and we are all looking for ways to love on our planet just a little more. Do you have old, broken, or unused electronics cluttering your home? Now’s the time to do your part for our local environment and bring them over to one of many upcoming electronics recycling events in Northeast Wisconsin! Did you know that electronics were banned from Wisconsin landfills and incinerators in 2010? Today, you are required to recycle electronics at a designated recycling center or event, and we’ve rounded them all up for your recycling convenience.

What type of electronics are accepted at electronic recycling events?

Televisions, computers (desktop, laptop, netbook, and tablet computers), printers, computer monitors, computer keyboards, mice, speakers, external hard drives, flash drives, DVD players, VCRs, DVRs, fax machines and cell phones. Basically, if you can plug it in, you can recycle it. Be sure to check the event’s website or call ahead to check whether your item is accepted and to confirm recycling fees and payment methods.
