Faith Technologies Hands-On Job Shadows Encourages Students to Explore a Career in the Trades
Faith Technologies strives to promote the engineering and electrical trades to up-and-coming trailblazers in the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields. We want students to feel confident in their career decisions, with our job shadow experience students can explore these growing fields and career options all under one roof.
In 2014, Faith Technologies implemented the job shadow and youth apprenticeship programs for students, ranging from sixth grade to undergraduate. Through hands-on activities and a full day of learning, we provide interested students with a chance to learn more about the trades directly from industry leaders and experts. Since Faith’s founding, we have been committed to excellence, on-going education and shaping the industry’s future talent.
Interested students will connect with Faith Technologies’ professionals and explore careers in multiple areas including operations, estimating, engineering, computer-aided design (CAD) and 3D modeling. Participants will spend the day at our Neenah location, with our project management and human resources staff.
“Recently Rawhide had four students participate in Faith’s job shadow program and it was an incredible day. It was empowering to see these boys observe Faith’s staff take pride in their career journeys and positions. Our students are now seriously considering trade apprenticeships, increased their efforts in school and have ambitions of working for Faith Technologies in the near future.”
– Jerry Trzebiatowski, teacher at Rawhide Boys Ranch
Faith Technologies is continually looking for opportunities to connect with area students and provide ways to prepare them for the working world. Offering students chances goes one step further in our youth apprenticeship program. The program takes students through on-the-job training, academic coursework and a mentorship program. Growing the area’s workforce and developing the industry’s future talent within the trades is a way for Faith’s staff to give back to the community.
All job shadows are located at: Faith Technologies, 585 Enterprise Drive, Neenah, Wis.
