Boo at the Zoo at the Milwaukee County Zoo

We have some Halloween events popping up in our area! As with the 2020 fall season, we recommend verifying up-to-date information on individual websites or Facebook pages prior to heading out to an event and planning ahead as some of these events require pre-registration.

Halloween Things to Do – Multiple Days

October 8-10, 2021

  • Zoo Boo at the NEW Zoo, Green Bay
    • About: The Zoo will be filled with festive, family-friendly Halloween decorations, so enjoy all the fun of Halloween while visiting the animals. Be sure to ride the carousel and walk through the Happy Haunted Maze in the Children’s Zoo. For the bravest guests: take a walk through the Haunted Zoo Zone – if you dare! Health and safety measures in place including timed entry.

    • Cost/Tickets: $15 adult/$9 Ages 13 and younger, ticket window opens at 5:30 pm

    • About: Join us for a fun-filled day of music, games, activities, and pumpkin selecting! Great for families, admission includes music, games & more! Note: Masks required for everyone ages 2 and older.

  • Pumpkin Walk, Brillion
    • About: The Nature Center’s stroller-friendly Cottonwood Trail will be lined with hundreds of lit jack-o-lanterns carved by local school children during this family-friendly Halloween event. Back at the building, warm up by listening to stories up in the loft or sitting around the bonfire. Overflow parking at the Brillion Elementary/Middle School parking lot will have free shuttle buses running every 15 minutes for the duration of the event.

  • Spooktacular Express, Lambeau Field
    • About: Families can experience the thrills and chills of Halloween throughout Lambeau Field’s open-air concourse, with entertainment, free pumpkins for kids, balloon animals & take-home crafts.

  • Trick or Treat Trail, Bellevue – SOLD OUT FOR 2021
    • About: Take a leisurely walk along the wooded trail at Josten Park, collect candy, pick out a pumpkin, and have a time you and your child will never forget!

    • About: Dress up to trick or treat through the zoo! Food trucks, games, crafts, prizes, mascots, and more add to the fun. Bonus, come say hi to our fox and meet members of the Go Oshkosh Kids team!

  •  Trick-or-Treat Trail, Fox Crossing
    • About: Take a walk through the park and collect candy from stations along the way. Stop back at the pavillion for a s’mores kit, hot chocolate, and craft. Warm up by the bonfire and roast your marshmallow.

  • Fright Night at the Park, Greenville
    • About: This is a family friendly event with something for everyone. Due to Covid-19 safety concerns we will not have “spooks” inside the pavilion but will have guided tours of haunted displays. The “spooks” have relocated to the zoo property and will be ready to scare anyone who dares to take our hayride.

  • Teal Buckets To Go – Food Allergy Event, Menasha
    • Join to celebrate Halloween and bring awareness to Food Allergies! We will have teal pumpkin buckets to go. Filled with safe items for those living with Food Allergies. Pick up safely from your car—message Team Delly to have one of the 120 teal buckets waiting for you.

    • About: Explore miles of trails and collect treats along the way. Take a ride on the hay wagon, enjoy games, entertainment, and crafts. Warm up by the campfire with s’mores.

  • Halloween Happenings 2021, Navarino Nature Center
    • About: Attend in costume or in your “muggle” clothes. The nature center will magically transform into Hogwarts school of magic for one special night. Enjoy the inflatable Halloween trail, games, trick-or-treating, themed photo booths, and Harry Potter decorations. Plus- the non-scary Halloween Trolley will be back for 2021 (additional fee). Food and drinks will be available for an additional cost.

    • About: Join us for a family-friendly after-dark walk to celebrate Halloween. No scary ghouls or goblins will be lurking in the shadows, just nature at its finest. The self-guided/self-paced walk will be lit by a combination of Jack-o-lanterns and tiki-torches. Reserve a small-group departure time when you register.

    • About: Wanick Park will be decorating the trails for your enjoyment. The trails will be open Friday from 6-8:30 pm (bring your flashlights), Trick or Treating will be on Saturday from noon – 2 pm. Trails will be open from 2-6 on Saturday along with a costume contest, games, food, and fun!

    • About: A day of howling, ghoulish fun activities for everyone!

    • About: Join us for our Halloween open house. Go trick or treating stall to stall getting greeted by our lesson horses. Dare to take a walk through our haunted hayloft and be spooked. Enter our raffle to win free riding lessons, and join us for other fun games and activities.

  • Howard BOO! – Family Halloween Event
    • About: Join us in the Grand Ballroom for a family friendly Halloween event. Admission price includes a cookie bar for all guests to enjoy and “Witches Brew” Mocktail.The event will feature “Howl at the Moon” Dueling Pianos out of Chicago for a full performance the the entire family will enjoy. Costume contests will run for family, kids, couples and individuals with awesome prizes for the big winners. Mac and Cheese (with options to load up yummy toppings) will be available along with a cash bar for purchase throughout the evening, so don’t worry about dinner plans!

    • About: Celebrate Halloween with activities around the farm, pick-your-own pumpkin from the patch and enjoy concessions (additional cost). Two costume parades will take place on each day at 11 am and 1 pm, one winner at each parade will receive a gift certificate for 4 ($52 value) to visit the farm in 2022.
