Event Info

Award-winning children’s book author Lisl Detlefsen is visiting the library from 10 to 11 a.m., and we can’t wait for you to meet her. She’ll talk about how she became a published author and what life is like living and working on a cranberry marsh. Drop in from 9 a.m. to noon to decorate a cookie, engage in sensory play at the “cranberrry marsh” activity station, make a jetpack or snap a silly picture at the photo booth. If you’re participating in the Wild Winter Read Off, redeem your points for prizes. At 1 p.m., Lisl will switch her focus to adults and present an author talk aimed at encouraging aspiring writers.
