Oshkosh Sawdust Days, Inc. is a non-profit organization run by volunteers. Proceeds from the festival go to pay for expenses such as; tents, toilets, entertainment, insurance, advertising, ½ of the 4th of July Fireworks, fencing, security, grounds, etc. Profits are donated to Menominee Park and the Festival of Lights. Oshkosh Sawdust Days is a vehicle for many non-profit and service groups from Oshkosh and the surrounding area to raise money for their respective causes and is the largest source of revenue for Oshkosh AMVETS Post #7 with the main portion of the money raised at Oshkosh Sawdust Days going to community projects such as: The United Cerebral Palsy, Military funeral services, student scholarships and directly to all the Veteran’s hospitals in the State of Wisconsin.
