Come to the UW-Oshkosh Rec Plex on Saturday, February 16th to learn more about the United Rec League (U6 and U8 program for new soccer players) and the Oshkosh United Academy (U8, U9 and U10 program for players looking for more challenge).
This event is open to prospective Oshkosh United players and is FREE of charge.
Players don’t need to register for this event (but it is highly recommended as additional event information will be emailed) and you can do so on the Academy page of the website, www.oshkoshunited.com/academy.
Players will participate in fun practice activities and some scrimmage games. Parents can check out the program and attend a short question and answer session to learn more about the programs.
6:00 – 7:00 PM: U5-U8 (born in 2014 – 2011)
- Learn about the United Rec League (URL) for the U6 and U8 age groups
- Learn about the Academy for the U8 age group
- U8 players could do URL or Academy, learn about the differences at this event
7:00 – 8:00 PM: U9-U10 (born in 2010-2009)
- Learn about the Academy program for U9 and U10 players
The event will take place at the UW-Oshkosh Rec Plex which is a full sized turf field with an inflatable dome over it (58 degrees inside the dome). Players can wear cleats if they have them and should wear shin guards.
