Wooden Playground Sparks Imagination: Morrissey Park in Chilton!

Morrissey Park in Chilton
Chilton

Looking for things to do with your kids or family? Chilton Morrissey Park and Playground is community-built and is lots of fun! Built-in 2008, it sits on 12 acres and is located in Calumet County, Wisconsin. This park is one of the last remaining wooden playgrounds and includes a town, train station, swings, climbing wall, slides, and more! This unique playground is so much fun and one of our favorite things to do in Chilton with kids (which also includes Ledgeview Nature Center).

Looking for nearby things to do? Check out Ledge View Nature Center! Best known for its caves, you’ll also find 3 miles of trails that wind through woodland, dolomite ledges, open prairie, wildflowers, gardens, and an inactive quarry. You’ll see lots of informational signs along the trails. A 60-foot observation tower has fantastic views if you can handle heights and the stairs!
