Rain or shine, the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay will host a safe treat-or-treat event for children on Thursday, Oct. 26 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The Office of Residence Life is the host.
The program is focused on pre-kindergarten through elementary school-age children from the Green Bay area. Participants and their adult chaperones/parents are asked to check-in at the Mauthe Center, 2418 Leon Bond Drive, Green Bay (adjacent to UW-Green Bay and next to the Kress Events Center). Parking is available in the Kress Center lot or the Visitors lot near the University Union.
While there, children will be given a reusable trick-or-treat bag, will have the opportunity to take photos with costumed characters and will have a variety of treats to indulge in. From there, participants and their accompanying adult will be led by a UW-Green Bay Ghost Guide to Roy Downham Hall, where they will trick-or-treat from room to room. Upon completion of the room tour, Ghost Guides will return the groups to the Mauthe Center. An adult chaperone is required to accompany their children.
